Eclipse – Installation
Dome Room, Bramall Music Building, University of Birmingham , Times: 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm
‘Eclipse’ is an interactive, immersive sound installation which explores spatial perception, human-computer interaction through wearable technology, and audio processing. Key objectives of this project are to promote listening awareness and present an innovative application of machine learning and UWB indoor positioning technology in Music/Sound Art. Presented on our BEAST Dome room multichannel system at the top of the Bramall Music Building. Eclipse has been created by current UoB PhD candidate and teaching fellow Sara Caneva, and recent UoB graduate Dr Milad Mardakheh, and was funded through the University of Birmingham Public Engagement Fund for Research.
