BOMble BEAST

A sociable meet up hosted by BOM (Birmingham Open Media) and BEAST. Great for anyone interested in experimental electronic music creation and performance of all types. All welcome, whether you’re coming from an academic background or you’re a curious bedroom music maker! Each meet up will have a focus with a guest speaker and/or demonstrations, discussion. Our inaugural meet up will be with composer, researcher and theorist Jorge Garcia from Los Andes University discussing his work and electronic music in Latin America, and BEAST member Milad Khosravi Mardakheh (Iran/UK) will discuss his work creating music by sonifying cancer research data.
