BOMble BEAST is a sociable meet up hosted by BOM (Birmingham Open Media) and BEAST. Great for anyone interested in experimental electronic music creation and performance of all types. All welcome, whether you’re coming from an academic background or you’re a curious bedroom music maker! Each meet up will have a focus with a guest speaker and/or demonstrations, discussion.
This month’s speakers will be acousmatic composer and sound artist Emma Margetson discussing her work engaging wider audiences with electronic music, and virtuoso bassist Chris Mapp, who will speak about his work with electronics and the upcoming BEAST/Fizzle/SEAMS collaboration. |
