BEASTdome: IKO concert with Gerriet Sharma
Dome Room, Bramall Music Building, University of Birmingham , Times: 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Gerriet Sharma is a Berlin-based composer, sound artist, and artistic researcher in spatial practices. For this exciting event he will present a workshop and concert on the groundbreaking IKO icosahedral loudspeaker, sharing his insights over a 15 year period of practice with the instrument. The concert will showcase work from the last decade from Sharma and others working with the IKO as well as a world premiere of his new piece shadow material. This concert will be preceded by a workshop led by Gerriet Sharma, from 11am-2.30pm.
