BEAST dome: Footsteps
BEASTdome, Bramall Music Building , Times: 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Presented in association with KLANG! électroacoustique, BEAST delivers a diverse programme of recent electroacoustic work showcasing highlights of the Klang! électroacoustique 2017 festival alongside new work from BEAST composers. Performances tailored to the unique, immersive setting of the BEAST Dome will project sound over the 32 loudspeakers surrounding the audience. The programme includes Remembering Japan by Hans Tutshcku (winner of the 2017 Klang! électroacoustique composition competition), Phoenix XXI by electroacoustic pioneer Francis Dhomont and Bloom by recent graduate Marty Fisk (winner of the 2017 Compass prize).
